How does one read through a Hull ID Quantity?
The Hull Identification Range (HIN) is a 12- or 14-character serial variety that uniquely identifies a ship. The HIN is analogous to the VIN on an automobile.
The primary three digits would be the Producer’s Identification Code (ex. Boat brand name for instance Sea Ray, Meridian, etcetera.). The four digits following that are definitely the manufacturer’s serial number for your boat. The 3rd and 4th digits in the finish will be the date of manufacture.
